Eleazar (Zar) Alejos
Beneficiary
Meet our beneficiary: Eleazar is the youngest son of Francisco and Kayla Alejos. He is a joyful, determined, strong little boy who loves McDonald’s, popsicles, The Hulk, and the color yellow. He’s proud of his mullet, happiest outdoors, and loves playing with his big brothers, Rhett and Zeke. His favorite days are “school days” at First Baptist’s Parents Day Out program, and he’s active in Awanas at First Baptist Church in Canton.
On November 22, 2025, just one month before his 4th birthday, Zar was involved in a traumatic lawn mower accident that resulted in the loss of his right foot and part of his leg below the knee. He was airlifted for emergency care and has since undergone four surgeries, with the possibility of more as he grows.
Today, he is healing well and preparing to receive his first prosthesis. He will begin physical therapy to learn how to walk with it and will need a new prosthesis every 6–18 months as he grows.
Funds raised from this event will support Zar’s ongoing medical care, prosthetic needs, and physical therapy as he continues to grow and heal. Most importantly, we are deeply grateful for everyone’s prayers, love, and support. Thank you for walking, running, and standing with our family on this journey.
